Z+ Cycling Camp
Master the Bike in your next Triathlon or Time Trial
What: Do you want to learn more about triathlon training and racing? Whether you’re a beginner preparing for your first race or a seasoned veteran who wants to get faster, we are here to help!
At this USAT sanctioned camp you will learn how to:
- Pedal stroke physiology and riding form
- On road safety and etiquette
- Cycling technique & drills for improving cadence and efficiency
- Strength training for improving pedal power
- Nutrition for triathlon racing
- Swim to bike to run transitions
- Tips & tricks for triathlon and time trial racing
When: Cancelled for 2014 due to lack of interest

Cost: $74.99 before 4/30/2014 OR $84.99 after 5/1/2014

The 2014 Z+ Multisport Camps are limited to 20 people and does not offer day-of registration. You must have a USAT membership or one day pass to attend this camp.

- Cycling Basics: Safety, Pedal Stroke, Cadence, Aerodynamics
- Cycling Specific Gear, Nutrition, & Strength Training
- On Bike Cycling Lessons: Pedal Stroke, Climbing, Descending, Cadence & Cornering,
- Triathlon Bike Transitions Practice: Mounting and Dismounting
- Tips & tricks for triathlon and time trial racing
- Cycling Practice and Questions
What to Bring
- USAT Membership Card or One Day Pass Receipt (verify your USAT membership for insurance purposes)
- Photo I.D.
- Training Clothes (we will be biking)
- Clothes for our classroom sessions and breaks (there are NOT any showers on site)
- Cycling Gear: Bike, Helmet, Sunglasses, Water Bottles, Shoes, Bike Trainer (optional)
- Transition Gear
- Heart Rate Monitor or GPS Watch (optional)
- Nutrition/Fuel & Drinks to use before, during or after your workouts
- Pen and paper/notebook on which to take notes
- Deck or camping chair (optional)
- Sunscreen

- 25 Years combined racing experience in running, cycling, triathlon, and duathlon
- 10 Years combined coaching in running and cycling
- Collegiate athlete in Cross Country and Track and Field
- Competed in 2011 World Duathlon Championships
